Roott: Swiss Dental Implants

Swiss Roott dental implants, developed by Trate AG, are an innovative solution for restoring lost teeth. These implants are made of a high-strength titanium alloy with the addition of aluminum and vanadium, which provides increased stability and biocompatibility. This design allows them to be used in various dental protocols, including two-stage implantation - a method in which the implant is first implanted into the bone, and then, after osseointegration, a crown is installed on it. Osseointegration is the process of fusion of the implant with bone tissue, which is key to the long-term stability of the implant.
Roott implants offer a wide range of models, including compression implants Roott Compressive and basal implants Roott Basal, which can be used in various clinical situations. Compression implants allow bone tissue to be compacted during installation, which ensures high primary stability and allows them to be used in techniques with immediate loading. Basal implants, in turn, are fixed in the basal layer of the bone, which avoids the need for additional surgical interventions, such as sinus lifting - an operation to raise the sinus floor to increase the volume of bone tissue in the upper jaw.
One of the unique features of Roott implants is their one-piece design, when the rod and abutment are a single unit. This eliminates the “micropump” problem, which can lead to the development of peri-implantitis — inflammation of the tissues around the implant. Peri-implantitis often occurs due to the accumulation of bacteria in the area of the implant-abutment junction. Roott implants also have a special surface design that allows them to cling to even a small amount of bone tissue, making them suitable for patients with jaw atrophy. This allows implantation without preliminary osteoplasty — a procedure for bone tissue augmentation.
The use of Roott implants reduces the time of dental restoration and ensures a high survival rate of over 95% in the upper jaw and over 97% in the lower jaw. This is due to the cleanliness of the implant surface, which minimizes the risk of peri-implantitis and promotes rapid osseointegration. In addition, Roott implants are certified according to international quality standards, which guarantees their safety and effectiveness for patients.
